The Cape Cod
FUN Rally has returned. This will be our 5th rally and we hope you can
join us this Fall.
See Cape Cod as you've never seen it before in the 100 mile adventure rally.
Speed is not a factor. Just answer the clues that are
scattered around the lower part of Cape Cod. You'll travel from Yarmouth to
Provincetown (the tip of Cape Cod) searching
for answers to the clues. All while traveling the shortest distance possible.
This is a low-tech rally and GPS devices are not allowed.
A map of Cape Cod will be provided to help you plot your journey and to keep
your mileage as low as possible.
The official rally headquarters will be the beautiful Red Jacket Beach Resort in Yarmouth, MA. When making reservations at the Red Jacket you need to let them know you are with the Cape Cod Corvette Club. We have a block of rooms set aside for us. You can make your reservations by calling (800) 672-0500.
Dash plaques and T-Shirts for all participants. Top 10 wall plaques to the top 10 teams. Saturday night raffle will be held after the rally/awards dinner in the Red Jacket function room. Lots of great items will be offered to the lucky ticket holders. Hope to see you this October. Fall is a beautiful time of year on Cape Cod. The rally committee is working hard to bring you the best rally possible. We think we've got a really great one planned for you.
Event Schedule/Info and Application Form
Friday Night: 5-7 pm Check-in and Welcome Party for all Participants in the Red Jacket Beach Wheelhouse. Complimentary Cheese/Crackers and Vegetables. At this time there will be an orientation and Q&A session for all new rally participants and anyone else wanting to get the latest info and updates.
Saturday Morning: Early breakfast and Odometer run. All cars participating in the rally will need to do the odometer run. This is a way for us to adjust final mileage in a fair and equal way. Once you have completed your odometer check, you will receive your map and clues, at which point you can begin the rally. The start and finish of the rally is in the Red Jacket parking lot.
Lodging: Our home base is the Red Jacket Beach Resort in Yarmouth, MA. As mentioned above, mention the Cape Cod Corvette Club when you call for reservations. We have a limited number of rooms set aside for those participating in the rally. It is situated on the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the best (if not the best) hotels on Cape Cod.
Saturday Night Banquet/Awards Dinner: To be held in the Wheelhouse of the Red Jacket at about 6pm. We've decided on their fabulous Dinner Buffet called the Highland Lighthouse. It included 3 choices of soup and salad. The Entrees are Pan-Seared Halibut with Fine Herb Compound Butter Sauce, Scallops and Shrimp sautéed with Scallions and Pancetta Bacon. From the Carving table, Roast Sirloin of Beef, Horseradish Sauce. Chef's selection of Vegetable and Starch plus homemade rolls and butter. A Red Jacket Dessert Table plus Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Tea, and Iced Tea.
After dinner: The awards will be presented
plus we will again have a great Cape Cod Corvette Club Raffle Table.

********** Rally Update **********
The Weather was PERRRRR-FECT and everyone had a great time. Many thanks to the volunteers from the Cape Cod Corvette Club, our Sponsor Corvette Mike New England, and all the teams from throughout New England that participated in this exciting 5th edition of the Cape Cod Rally. Great to see so many Corvette Owners "DRIVING" their car in an event! Will be adding picture as I get them. If you have any from the event please email them to me and I will post them below.
